What you’ll be doing:
As a Junior Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action, managing client accounts, creating stand-out content, and helping steer the ship on strategy. You’ll be a key contact for clients, with the chance to build relationships and guide them on the marketing activities that will get results. You’ll also work closely with our tight-knit team, supporting each other, sharing ideas, and smashing client goals together.
• Owning the organisation of client accounts and keeping tasks on track
• Playing a role in developing strategy and forward planning for clients
• Regular touchpoints with clients – calls, meetings, and progress updates
• Tracking and sharing success metrics to show how we’re delivering
• Managing social media content plans and the tools we use to make it happen
• Taking notes in client calls and summarising key takeaways and actions
• Creating content across social media, blogs, newsletters, and beyond
• Building strong relationships and being a go-to for clients
• Helping out with Spinks Creative’s own social media and marketing activities
- 2+ years of experience in marketing
- Experience creating social media content and shaping social strategies
- Copywriting and email marketing skills
- Adobe Creative Suite skills? A bonus, but not essential
- Canva experience
- WordPress, HubSpot and/or Squarespace know-how
- Detail-oriented and organised – you keep things running smoothly
- Passion, creativity, and a drive to blow clients’ expectations out of the water
- Top-notch communication skills – you’ll be working with a range of departments
- Solid time management – you can juggle multiple projects at once

• Help out with content creation, including social media, blogs, and newsletters
• Work with the team on social media plans and content, making sure posts and ideas are in line with client goals
• Jump in on client calls and meetings, taking notes and summarising key points and actions
• Help with tracking and reporting success metrics to show how campaigns are performing
• Build relationships with clients, supporting senior team members as a secondary contact
• Get involved with Spinks Creative’s own social media and marketing efforts, bringing fresh ideas to the table
• Occasionally, assist with outreach to journalists/influencers when needed on certain accounts
- 1+ years of experience in marketing (or a cracking portfolio that shows us your potential!)
- A knack for social media content creation – and some experience contributing to social strategies
- Strong copywriting skills for everything from blogs to social posts and emails
- Bonus if you know your way around Canva, WordPress, or Squarespace (and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, but not essential)
- You’ve got an eye for detail and can handle multiple tasks at once without dropping the ball
- A hunger to learn and grow – whether that’s new tools, marketing trends, or creative techniques
- Solid communication skills to work with different departments and clients
