Salary expectation – £34-40k pa dependent on experience.
Hybrid working – A minimum of 3 office days (Tues, Thurs)

Spinks Creative has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team. You will need to be an experienced marketing professional with a creative mindset and a desire to help our clients achieve their marketing vision through multiple disciplines. We are looking for someone who has proven experience and a passion for marketing; whether that be creating a brand identity from scratch, a new content strategy for an existing client or exciting and vibrant social media content; we need someone who is able to work with a range of digital tools to make it happen.

We’re a collaborative bunch and we are looking for someone who wants to share ideas and pitch new concepts within our fun, fast paced and growing agency. This is a chance to work with clients throughout their journey with us, enact real change and have a positive influence on how campaigns and projects alike are delivered.

The Marketing Manager role is a fundamental role in the team as you will be acting as the primary contact for the client. The role needs someone with attention to detail, an organised manner and a creative and forward thinking mindset. The role requires strategic thinking and the ability to guide the client on activity and ideas that will work best for their objectives. The Marketing Manager role should be an authoritative one and one that the client sees as the main point of contact in the team.

Teamwork and people management is an essential part of the role and one that we take pride in at Spinks Creative, so it will need someone who is keen to work collaboratively and closely with other team members to help support each other, develop other team members and achieve success for the clients we work on.

• Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with client goals.
• Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, including designers, content creators, and freelancers.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for growth.
• Content Strategy: Develop and oversee content strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure ROI and effectiveness.
• Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies, maximising ROI and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Internal Marketing: Management of Spinks Creative’s marketing strategy and brand awareness campaigns.

  • 3 years + experience in marketing
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client relations and team collaboration.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Market Research: Skilled in conducting market research and analysing data to inform strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Creativity: Creative thinking to develop engaging marketing campaigns and content strategies.
  • Digital Marketing: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and maximising ROI.
  • Client Management: Proven ability to manage client relationships and meet their expectations.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Brevo, Hubspot, CMS platforms (WordPress and Squarespace), CRM software, and other analytics platforms including Google Analytics.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimise campaign performance.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market trends and client needs.
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills for working with clients and vendors.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
